Two Greystanes mates have had a stellar finish to the working week by discovering they became $100,000 richer from a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw earlier this week.

The duo held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10656 on Wednesday 24 August 2022.

In addition to the 1st Prize of $100,000, the pair’s entry of five consecutive numbers also scored an additional $2,000 in consolation prizes.

Speaking to an official from The Lott this morning, one of the friends revealed he’d only discovered their good fortune.

“Thank you so much! You’ve made my day, week, month!” he exclaimed.

“It’s between me and a mate. We buy a ticket each week. We’ve been doing it for a while now. But we’ve never won something like this before.

“I just happened to look on Facebook this morning and it popped up that a winning ticket was sold at Greystanes. I looked at the results and thought, ‘Sh**! It looks like we’ve won this!’.

“I’ve told my friend but said not to get over the moon until it’s been confirmed. I can call him back now!

“He’s got a mortgage, so this will help with that, while I’d love to take a holiday – maybe to Bali.

“We both enjoy a beer, so I’m sure we’ll be getting together to celebrate!”

Greystanes Centre Newsagency owner Narith Lim said he and his team were thrilled for their winning customer.

“We’re celebrating this milestone with our balloons and banners. Everyone’s happy to see a win in the area and hoping they may be the next lucky winner,” he said.

This is our second major prize-winning entry during the past four years.

“We’d like to congratulate our 1st Prize winner and hope they enjoy it!”
