A Gorokan woman in lockdown has declared her $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win is “life-changing” and paves the way for a happier end to 2021.

The Central Coast resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10487, drawn Thursday 2 September 2021.

Straight after the draw, an official from The Lott called the winner, who admitted the thrilling news had brightened her day.

“Hail Mary! This is absolutely life changing,” the jubilant woman laughed.

“I’ve always wondered how people react to winning the lottery and this is my reaction!

“I’ll openly admit, it’s been really tough for me since the lockdown began. I’ve been stood down from work for eight weeks.

“A colleague of mine had been reminiscing about how he won a small lottery prize years back, and I felt inspired to purchase an entry.

“I only started purchasing lottery tickets three weeks ago!

“This is an exciting early birthday present!”

When asked how the prize would make a difference, the winning woman explained she’d be able to boost her retirement fund.

“I have no super, so this is going to help look after my retirement and future,” she shared.

“I’m going to postpone my celebrations until I get out of lockdown, but I can’t wait to celebrate.”

The New South Wales winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of nine random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
