A Penrith man has declared 2021 will certainly be better than 2020 thanks to his $100,000 win in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Western Sydney winner held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10432, drawn Wednesday 23 December 2020.
“This is most welcome!” the man exclaimed when his prize was confirmed by an official from The Lott.
“Gee whiz! It’s certainly a nice surprise. It’s marvellous!
“It’s great to see something good happen in 2020. It compensates for the rest of the year.
“I’m sure this means a much happier 2021!”
The regular player shared he had plans for his prize that would help give him a better New Year.
“I work in the tourism sector, so work has been a bit scarce. I still have a mortgage so I can put quite of bit of my win on that and it will be a great buffer for the future,” he said.
“Nobody can forecast what’s going to happen and there may still be a rocky road ahead, but this gives me great peace of mind.
“It’s a perfect Christmas gift!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of three random numbers from thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
