A Scullin man received a happy distraction to his workday today with the news he won $102,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The happy winner scored the $100,000 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10445, drawn Monday 1 March 2021.
As well as winning the 1st prize, the Canberra man also won a consolation prize of $2,000 boosting his total windfall to $102,000.
Speaking with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the overjoyed winner admitted he never expected to receive a call with such good news.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” he screamed happily.
“Hang on, I am at work, let me go to a quiet room.
“I can’t believe this.
“This is so, so, so good!
“Thank you very much.
“I am feeling blessed!
“This is definitely worth celebrating. I am going to go out for a nice dinner and have a few drinks tonight.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the stoked bloke admitted he’d already been thinking about it.
“You know that’s the question that’s running through my mind right now – what will I do with it!” he laughed.
“I think most of it will go on the mortgage.
“But I need to do something to spoil myself. I might do a few upgrades to my car!”
