A Gungahlin man in his 50s says there’s no better way to end the working week than discovering a $100,000 win from the latest Lucky Lotteries draw.
The Canberra man scored the $100,000 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10446, drawn Friday 5 March 2021.
When an official from The Lott called the winner this afternoon, he had no idea he had scored the 1st Prize.
“Wow! I can see the confetti falling on the screen now! That’s looking bloody good,” he laughed.
“That’s phenomenal!
“It’s certainly not a bad way to end the week.
“I was just saying to a work colleague that I had won $17 in Lotto the other day. I was chuffed with that!
“This is just incredible.
“Gee whiz!
“I’m still trying to understand what’s going on. This is phenomenal!”
When asked how he intended to enjoy his prize, the stoked bloke said he had one important person to tell first before making any concrete plans.
“I will definitely go out for a nice meal tonight to celebrate and break the news to my wife. I am sure she will have plenty ideas of how to spend it,” he explained.
“It’s certainly come at a good time. We are buying a new home, so it will put a nice dent in the mortgage.”
The regular player who wishes to remain anonymous purchased his winning entry of four random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.52 million for draw 1522, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $3.23 million for draw 10447.
