A week after the draw, an East Gosford father has finally discovered he scored a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize, and according to him, it’s come at the perfect time.
The New South Wales player won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10463, drawn Tuesday 25 May 2021.
Sharing his joy with an official from The Lott this morning, the winner confessed the prize would make his life easier.
“I’m stoked!” he exclaimed.
“I honestly just found out this morning. It has taken a bit to sink in.
“I’m patiently waiting for it to hit the bank. My family and I could really use it!
“We look forward to celebrating our win!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his win, the hard-working man immediately said he was looking forward to the feeling of financial freedom.
“Honestly, it’s going to go straight to paying off some bills," he shared.
“Life will feel a bit easier. It can take some pressure off.
“Eventually, we hope to have a holiday once everything clears up.
“We would like to explore overseas.
“This is great!”
The 1st Prize winning entry was purchased at East Gosford Newsagency, 53-55 Victoria Street, East Gosford.
East Gosford Newsagency team member Melissa Worthington said she was pleased the winner had come forward to claim his prize.
“It’s been a while since we’ve had a winner!” she said.
“We had one last year and have been patiently waiting for another one this year.
“We had all sorts of customers come check their tickets, registered and unregistered.
“It’s great to hear a regular player has won the prize. Congratulations to the fortunate man!”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1 million for draw 1535, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $5.7 million for draw 10466.
In 2020, 141 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $48.61 million.
During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by an Ermington woman who a Mega Jackpot prize of $11.73 million in January.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
