A man from Malvern who is used to small TattsLotto wins has admitted nothing could prepare him for his $3.3 million prize in the weekend’s draw.
The Melburnian held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4571, drawn Saturday 10 May 2025. Each entry scored $3,333,333.34.
So far in 2025, there have been 13 major lottery wins land in the east Melbourne region, collectively taking home more than $15.44 million in prize money.
“Thank you very much!” he laughed when an official from The Lott confirmed his windfall this morning.
“I discovered the win on Saturday night. Normally, when I win only $11 or $16, I receive an email about it. But I noticed that I didn’t receive an email, and I thought that was strange.
“Then I went to check the ticket, and I couldn’t believe it. I’d won division one!
“It’s hard to believe I’ve won $3.3 million!
“I’ve been patiently waiting for your call since Saturday night.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his life as a newly minted multi-millionaire, the gleeful dad shared that family would come first.
“I haven’t had a thorough think about it just yet, but I’m sure I’ll put it towards the future of my family,” he shared.
His winning 6-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4571 on 10 May 2025 were 1, 35, 18, 25, 45 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 16.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4571 – three in New South Wales, two in Victoria and one in Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 402 so far in FY25, including 147 won by Tatts customers.
In 2024, TattsLotto created 149 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 316 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $400.2 million.
