A Waterloo woman has shared how her special ritual of placing her ticket in an envelope with a positive manifestation sparked a life-enhancing $100,000 win in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw.
The Sydneysider held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10944, drawn Monday 17 March 2025. She also scored a consolation prize boosting her total prize to $101,000.
“Wow! I’m so happy!” she cheered when an official from The Lott confirmed her win.
“I’m very surprised by the news.
“Thank you, God! Thank you, God!
“This will help my daughter so much.
“You won’t believe the way I play. Every time I buy a ticket, I put it in an envelope with a positive note.
“This time, I wrote, ‘Thank you, God. Please help my daughter,’.
“I always tell people the way I play, but most people don’t take me seriously.
“This is just so beautiful!
“I’m so lucky to be able to help my daughter now. This will go straight to her buying an apartment.”
Her winning entry of two consecutive numbers was purchased at Ezymart Waterloo, Shop 5, 22 Crystal Street Waterloo.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.08 million for draw 1699, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $13.89 million for draw 10947.
In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
