A Manly woman is ready to ditch the winter blues for a sun-soaked holiday after bagging $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Northern Beaches local scored the 1st prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10856, drawn Wednesday 19 June 2024.

When officials from The Lott contacted the winning woman, she was out grocery shopping oblivious to her wondrous prize.

“Oh my god! This is wonderful news!” she cheered.

“I’m just out grocery shopping at the moment.

“I’m going to treat myself to some nice prawns and a bottle of champagne to celebrate tonight.”

When asked how she planned to use her hefty haul, the Northern Beaches woman had a few ideas in mind, including a tropical escape and looking after her loved ones.

“This prize is going to do a lot for my children,” she shared.

“I’m going to be able to help them in all the ways I’ve always wanted to!

“I would also love to escape to somewhere warmer. Maybe Hawaii?”

The woman’s entry of three random numbers was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.24 million for draw 1683, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $2.19 million for draw 10857.

In 2023, 117 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $20.6 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In 2023, more than 122.7 million wins took home more than $3.76 billion in prize money from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Lotto, Weekday WindfallPowerballOz LottoSet for LifeLucky LotteriesKeno (SA)Super 66Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.

Last financial year, Australia’s official lotteries contributed more than $1.6 billion via state lottery taxes and donations to help community initiatives, such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education.
