A Maroochydore dad can’t wait to now play a bigger role in helping his son tie the knot later this year after landing a dazzling $110,000 win in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.
The Sunshine Coast retiree held the only division one winning entry nationally in Super 66 draw 4563, drawn Saturday 12 April 2025. He looks forward to a total prize of $110,496.90.
“Thank you so much!” he laughed when an official from The Lott confirmed his windfall.
“It’s so exciting. I couldn’t come to claim the prize quick enough!
“It’s come at the most perfect time. My son is getting married later this year, and I really wanted to surprise him with something special.
“I’ll also be helping out other family members. One of them will be receiving $5,000 of the prize!
“I’ve hit retirement age as well and need to focus on setting up my future.
“There’s no doubt I’ll be enjoying some Chinese takeaway for dinner.”
His winning 10-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Nextra Swan Newsagency, Shop 137 Sunshine Plaza, 154-164 Horton Parade, Maroochydore.
Nextra Swan Newsagency manager David Greenwood said his first thought was that it was a great accolade for both his store and the division one winner.
“We will be celebrating the division one win in-store with all of our customers and staff. We’ve also decorated the store with displays and had multiple conversations about the exciting prize,” he said.
“We’ve already had lots of excitement from our customers regarding the exciting news and we’re sure it will inspire many other locals in the area.

The winning numbers in Super 66 draw 4563 on Saturday 12 April 2025 were 1, 1, 8, 6, 5 and 8.
Super 66 is an add-on game played with Saturday Gold Lotto, Weekday Windfall, Oz Lotto and Powerball.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 362 so far in FY25, including 92 won by Golden Casket customers.
