Fifteen Melburnians have kicked off their week in style after bagging themselves a sensational $747,000 TattsLotto win over the weekend.

However, some members of the winning syndicate may have yet to realise their good fortune, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.

The Fighting Rooster syndicate held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4305 on Saturday 22 October 2022.

In addition to winning division one, the syndicate’s System 11 QuickPick entry also scored division three 30 times, division four 150 times and division six 200 times, bolstering the group’s total windfall to $747,166.44.

Each syndicate member scored a total prize of $49,811.10.

The winning syndicate was established by Seaford Newsagency, 124 Nepean Highway, Seaford, and sold at eight other Tatts outlets across the city:

  • Hampton Park Lotto, Hampton Park
  • East Boundary Road Lotto, Bentleigh East
  • Seraglio Lotto, South Melbourne
  • Central Lotto, Altona Meadows
  • Westall Lucky Lotto, Clayton South
  • Carnegie Central Lotto, Carnegie
  • Hastings Gold Mine, Hastings
  • Keysborough Lucky Lotto, Keysborough

Seaford Newsagency owner Amit Tagore said the team were on cloud nine after selling its second division one winning entry in two years.

“It’s been a fantastic few days since realising we’d sold a division one winning entry in the weekend’s draw,” he said.

“The Fighting Rooster syndicate has been playing for almost five years, and so to see it get a win makes us all smile.

“We sold another division one entry just last year! Hopefully, we can keep it going and see a few more winning entries come from us soon.

“Congratulations to all members of the Fighting Rooster syndicate. We hope this win makes your dreams come true!”

The Lott spokesperson James Eddy urged any players who purchased a share into the Fighting Rooster syndicate to check their entry as soon as possible.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4305 on 22 October 2022 were 7, 17, 41, 21, 35 and 24, while the supplementary numbers were 23 and 5.
