In an effort to unite the mystery $100 million winner with their prize, Powerball is today hosting a Memory Jog and pounding Sydney pavements to remind local residents and visitors to check their tickets.

The $100 Million Powerball Memory Jog will see a group of joggers dressed in Powerball gear and billboards running through the streets around Bondi Junction with one clear message – check your tickets, you could be the $100 million Powerball winner.

Today marks nine weeks since a single Sydney player won the entire $100 million jackpot in Powerball draw 1517 on 12 June 2025. They share the title of Australia’s third biggest lottery winner.

However, the winning ticketholder has yet to claim the prize. Unfortunately, the multi-million-dollar winning entry was not registered to The Lott Members Club, which means lottery officials have no way of contacting the winner.

In New South Wales, players have six years to claim their prizes before they expire.

The winning entry was purchased at Bondi Junction Newsagency, Shop 2, 191 – 195 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.

To help find the winner and unite them with their windfall, Powerball is conducting a Memory Jog on Thursday, 14 August 2025 around Bondi Junction.

Who:               The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart

Vision:            Powerball Memory Jog – a band of runners will take to Sydney’s streets as part of a reminder for players to check their tickets

While the unclaimed $100 million Powerball prize had received widespread attention across Australia, The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said they had yet to hear from the winning ticketholder.

“It has now been 63 days since the elusive ticket holder won this massive $100 million prize and throughout that time, we have been eagerly waiting to unite the winner with their Powerball windfall.  Each day during the past nine weeks, we’ve been asking ourselves – is today the day the winning ticket is presented?” he said.

“Today, we’re hosting a Memory Jog around the streets where the winning entry was sold in the hope that seeing our team running around Bondi Junction sparks a memory and spurs players to hunt for unchecked lottery tickets.

“In previous cases where people have come forward weeks, months and even years after the draw to finally claim their prize, they’ve told us the winning ticket was hiding in plain sight the whole time – in their wallet or purse, on the fridge, or just lying around in a drawer.

“Our message to anyone out there thinking it couldn’t be them – it really could be you. You could be our mystery multi-millionaire, and you just need to check your tickets.

“Imagine winning $100 million and not knowing it! How might the past two months have been with a $100 million boost to your bank account?

“This is the very reason why we encourage everyone to register their entries to The Lott Members Club – we can reach out to you immediately if you win big!”

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1517 on Thursday 12 June 2025 were 28, 10, 3, 16, 31, 14 and 21. The all-important Powerball number was 6.
