Everything’s coming up roses for a group of 10 Rosebud players who shared a million-dollar division one win in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The winning store syndicate, “Bells & Whistles”, held one of the three division one winning entries across Australia in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4153, drawn Wednesday 2 February 2022. Each entry won a division one prize of $1 million.
In addition to winning division one, the syndicate’s System 8 QuickPick entry also won division three 12 times and division four 15 times, bolstering the group’s total win to $1,005,973.75. Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $100,597.39.
Shares into the winning syndicate were sold at Rosebud Authorised Newsagency, 1083 Point Nepean Road, Rosebud.
Rosebud Authorised Newsagency owners Hemant Pathak and Vishal Marwah said they were elated to have sold their first division one winning entry since taking over the outlet last year.
“We are so happy and excited. It’s too good to be true,” Hemant said.
“We bought this store a little over nine months ago, and we have had tremendous local support and we want to thank our customers for that.
“This is a weekly store syndicate where most of the players are regulars who are in the syndicate each week. It’s great to see them have a big win.”
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he encouraged anyone who purchased a syndicate share into last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw from Rosebud Authorised Newsagency to check their entries as soon as possible.
“We know some of these division one winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune and are looking forward to a hefty boost to their bank accounts,” he said.
“However, other syndicate members may be completely obvious to their win.
“We’ll be reaching out to those players who registered their entry to a player card, but for those who didn’t, they’ll need to check their ticket and make contact with us to start the prize claim process.”
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4153 on Wednesday 2 February 2022 were 45, 33, 5, 27, 8 and 15, while the supplementary numbers were 16 and 36.
