A Moana woman was delighted to discover today that what she initially thought was a scam was actually a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win.
The South Adelaide resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10522, drawn Thursday 27 January 2022.
“I’m gobsmacked! I thought it was a scam!” she laughed.
“I kept receiving these calls and I immediately thought it was a joke. I hung up straight away and shut the phone off!
“A few hours later, I decided to check my Lucky Lotteries entry. It told me that I’d won $100,000! I thought to myself, ‘Is this real?’.
“I told my family straight away and they simply couldn’t believe it.
“I purchase entries into Lucky Lotteries draws when the jackpot starts to get higher. I guess it has worked out in my favour!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her good fortune, the mind-boggled South Australian admitted she was too stunned to make any concrete plans.
“I’m a bit too overwhelmed by the win to make any formal decisions at this stage, but I’m sure it will go to good use.”
The life-enhancing winning entry of six random numbers was purchased at Seaford Lotteries Kiosk, K6 / Seaford Shopping Centre, Commercial Road, Seaford.
Seaford Lotteries Kiosk owner Steven Yu said his team was thrilled to have sold a 1st Prize winning entry to a regular customer.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.76 million for draw 1559, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $6.74 million for draw 10523.
