A Frankston man has struggled to grasp his newly minted millionaire status after taking home a staggering $1 million in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The seaside resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4333, drawn Wednesday 25 October 2023. He took home $1 million.
The Melburnian was blissfully unaware of his astonishing news until a lottery official stopped him in his tracks this morning and turned his day upside down.
“Bonkers! That’s cool!” he cheered.
“Oh wow. That’s great! I don’t know how to feel.
“I noticed I had a few missed calls this morning and I was told to check my Monday & Wednesday Lotto ticket.
“I thought it was odd, but I decided to do it anyways and that’s when I saw the $1 million win!
“I can’t believe it. I’ve been playing for years and never expected to ever receive this news.
“I’ll have to make some phone calls now!”
The winning man was too shocked to make any concrete plans but knew it would enhance the rest of his 2023 plans and beyond, with a potential holiday on the cards.
“I’ll have to sit down and process the news. I need to wrap my head around it all!” he said.
“Who knows – maybe a holiday? I’m not sure.
“Thank you so much.”
His winning marked 12-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4333 on Wednesday 25 October 2023 were 35, 9, 32, 27, 7 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 29 and 31.
