Four Mornington Peninsula mates are grinning from ear to ear after their TattsLotto syndicate of 17 years finally scored them a marvellous $2.1 million over the weekend.
The victorious Victorians held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4609, drawn Saturday 20 September 2025. Each entry looks forward to $2,162,532.87.
So far in 2025, there have been 24 major lottery wins in Melbourne’s Southeast region that have collectively taken home more than $41.39 million in prize money.
An official from The Lott revealed the exciting news to the private syndicate leader earlier this morning, leaving him floored by the revelation their long-running entry scored a multi-million-dollar win.
“Yew yew! Thank you so much!” he laughed.
“It’s been a funny couple of days! We’ve had the same TattsLotto entry going for 17 whole years and can’t believe it.
“We’ve only ever won division three before, so it’s great to finally land division one.
“I told the other three guys the exciting news, and we had a virtual meeting over the weekend.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his share of the bounty, the chirpy man revealed his plans to squash his mortgage.
“I’ll be paying off the mortgage that’s for sure!” he shared.
“Thank you so much. You’re the best!

Their winning System 10 entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4609 on 20 September 2025 were 27, 10, 5, 38, 25 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 34 and 15.
Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4609 – two in Western Australia and one in Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 310 so far in 2025, including 121 won by Tatts customers.
In FY25, TattsLotto created 165 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $420 million.
