A Morphett Vale woman has confessed to feeling dumfounded after discovering she won over $678,000 in Saturday’s X Lotto draw.
The Adelaide resident held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 3915, drawn on Saturday 26 January 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $678,118.79.
Sharing her joy with an SA Lotteries official this morning to confirm her win, the winner recounted how she discovered the life-changing news.
“I was just at home and decided to check my ticket on my iPad,” she explained.
“When I saw first it, I thought it said I had won $600. I was excited about that so it was a bit of a shock when I saw what I had actually won.
“I play every week. I usually just put on a Quickpick entry for Saturday X Lotto and on Saturday my numbers finally came up!
“I’ve just been too dumbfounded to get my head around it. I’ve never won anything like this before!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her X Lotto windfall, the thrilled winner revealed she had her sights set on a sea change.
“I’ll pay off my house first, then I will buy another one!” she declared.
“I want to buy a house near the beach and move down to the coast.”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Campbell’s Newsagency Morphett Vale, Shops 14 & 15, Southgate Plaza, Sherrifs Road, Morphett Vale.

The winning numbers in X Lotto draw 3915 on Saturday 26 January 2019 were 36, 18, 8, 19, 38 and 42, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 4.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in X Lotto draw 3915, including three in Victoria and one each in Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 221 so far this financial year, including 16 won by SA Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning X Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
