A Boronia couple can look forward to opening the door to a mortgage free home after scoring $537,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The City of Knox residents held one of the 10 division one winning entries in draw 4277, drawn Saturday 16 July 2022 and takes home a total prize of $537,806.77.
“You’re kidding! Is this a joke?!” the ecstatic man questioned when their win was confirmed by an official from The Lott.
“We had no idea we’d won a division one prize. This is just amazing!
“I’ve played TattsLotto since I first turned 18 years old!
“We’re going to gather the children around and reveal the exciting news to them over dinner.
“Paying off our mortgage has been our main priority, and now we can live with ease knowing we can put our prize towards paying it off completely. This is the best news!
“We can spend more time relaxing and enjoying our life – stress-free!
“Thank you so, so much!”
The dynamic duos marked 4-game entry was purchased at Boronia Discount Drug Store, Shop 27-30 Boronia Mall, Cnr Floriston Road and Chandler Road.
Boronia Discount Drug Store owner Daniel Chung said the division one winning entry is the first to land at their outlet since moving locations.
“We didn’t expect a division one winning entry at our new location so soon, but we’ll happily accept it. It’s wonderful news!” he said.
“Our customers are part of a tight-knit community, and I’m sure they’ll be extremely excited to hear the news and share their joy.
“We will put up signs and decorations in our store to celebrate this moment. We also have a bottle of red wine waiting for the winner - if they wish to come in!

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4277 on 16 July 2022 were 23, 37, 11, 8, 19 and 35, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 34.
Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4277 – five in Victoria, and one each in New South Wales, The Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 246 so far this calendar year, including 102 won by Tatts customers.
