A man from Mount Waverley is ready to start a new chapter and move from his home of four decades after landing a marvellous $1.25 million win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Melburnian held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4623, drawn Saturday 8 November 2025. He looks forward to $1.25 million.
When an official from The Lott called the gleeful winner, he was still buzzing with excitement.
“Thank you very much!” he said.
“I input my numbers through on my computer and that’s when I saw $1.25 million come up on the screen. I couldn’t believe it!
“I’ve been waiting a long time. I’ve played TattsLotto for many decades!
“I’ve been living in the same place for about 40 years, and I think I’m ready for a change.
“I was going to get on the tools and renovate the house, but this prize means I won’t have to!
“Thank you very much.”
His winning 10-game System 7 QuickPick was purchased at Pinewood Authorised Newsagency, Pinewood Shopping Centre, 59 Centreway, Mount Waverley.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4623 on 8 November 2025 were 28, 13, 1, 41, 14 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 34.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4623 – five in Victoria, two in Western Australia and one in New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 370 so far in 2025, including 147 won by Tatts customers.
In FY25, TattsLotto created 165 millionaires across Australia.
