A Mourilyan woman is still struggling to wrap her head around winning a life-enhancing $99,000 in the weekend’s Super 66 draw, initially convinced lottery officials had made a mistake.

The Cassowary Coast resident held the only division one winning entry in Super 66, draw 4357, drawn Saturday 22 April 2023 and took home a total prize of $99,998.00.

“It’s truly exciting,” she laughed when an official from The Lott confirmed her newfound fortune this morning.

“I was at home on the weekend, and I decided to check my lottery tickets.

“I thought The Lott made a mistake when I first found out about the win!

“This is definitely the most I’ve ever won. I’m still trying to process it all.

“I’ve told my daughters and sister about the win, and they’re ecstatic.

“Thank you so much.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her buoyant bounty, the Queenslander shared she was now one step closer to owning her very own home with her daughter.

“I can look to buy a house with my daughter. We’ve wanted to do it for a while now,” she said.

Her winning 50-game QuickPick was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
