A young Ringwood man has vowed to spoil his mum rotten and take her on a no-limits shopping spree after discovering he’d pocketed $200,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
The Melbourne resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1775, drawn Wednesday 4 March 2026. He looks forward to a neat $200,000 prize.
After initially doubting lottery officials and hanging up on their call, the winning man then checked his ticket and was thrilled to discover he’d won a major prize.
“Oh my goodness! I’m sorry for hanging up on you earlier!” he exclaimed when finally speaking with an official from The Lott.
“I’m so happy. I have my mum by my side and we can’t believe it.
“It’s amazing news that’s going to take a while to process.
“I can’t wait to celebrate with my family.”
With $200,000 set to land in his lap, the winning man shared giving back to his mum would be his top priority.
“I’ll be treating my mum to a shopping spree, and she can choose whatever she wants,” he said.
“I’m very grateful for everything my parents have done for me, and I want to give back to them as much as possible.
“The rest of the prize will be set aside as savings, and I’ll look to invest some.”
His winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $26.56 million for draw 1776, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.28 million for draw 11063.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
