A Burleigh mum of three has been rendered speechless after discovering her $1 million win in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw, admitting the shock of the win gave her goosebumps.
The Gold Coast resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4668, drawn Monday 23 February 2026. She looks forward to a neat $1 million.
After checking her ticket straight after the draw last night, the cheerful Queenslander said the news nearly gave her a ‘heart attack’ and she immediately leapt onto her son in excitement.
“Oh my god! Oh my god!” she exclaimed.
“It’s real! Now that you’ve given me a call, I know it’s real!
“I nearly had a heart attack last night when I checked the ticket.
“I was beside my husband and my elderst son and I immediately jumped on my son and said, ‘I think I’ve just won $1 million! Oh my god!’.
“My husband doesn’t believe it, and he still doesn’t! I can’t wait to prove him wrong!
“I’ve been playing the lottery since one of my sons were born. Gosh, I’ve been playing for 16 years!
“I’ve got goosebumps, and a tingle down my spine!
“We will definitely be going out for a celebratory dinner, and I’ll be enjoying a glass of champagne!”
When asked how she planned to move forward as a newly-minted millionaire, the winning woman immediately thought of her nearest and dearest.
“My son’s been saving up for his first car, but he doesn’t have quite have enough. But now, I can buy him one! He actually started browsing for cars last night,” she laughed.
“I did tell him not to get too carried away, though - everyone knows you beat up your first car!
“I’m also planning to help out the family and give everyone some money. I love helping others, and have always given back to charities.
“Thank you so much!”
Her winning 24-game QuickPick was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4668 on Monday 23 February 2026 were 23, 29, 33, 18, 15 and 13, while the supplementary numbers were 10 and 1.
