A Murray Bridge woman has spent the last 11 days questioning her life-enhancing $585,000 Saturday X Lotto win, revealing she was racing out the door to catch a flight when she received the initial winning call.
The South Australian was among the 11 division one winners nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4655 on Saturday 28 February 2026. Each division one winner pocketed $585,849.02.
The winner shared that the numbers she’d played for decades belonged to her late mother, who passed away more than 30 years ago, saying the win felt like a sign she was watching over her.
“Oh my gosh! It’s unbelievable!” she said when an official from The Lott confirmed the win.
“The crazy thing about this is these are my mothers’ numbers. I’ve been playing them for over 30 years since she passed away, and she would’ve been playing them long before that!
“It’s very special. It feels like she’s shining down on me.
“I missed your initial call over a week ago as I was packing to go to the airport! Then as I was running out the door, I quickly listened to the messages on the answering machine.
“I wasn’t sure if it was real or not, but I was stunned. I was sitting on the plane going ‘I can’t believe this!’.
“I started to see they were frantically looking for the winner. I saw it on Facebook and even the news. I was thinking ‘It’s me!’ but I wasn’t sure what to do because I was overseas.”
With the division one win now confirmed, the happy woman shared she could relax and plan what to do with the prize.
“It’s a huge help. I’ll be able to do some travel and help people and enjoy the rest of my life!” she said.
“Thank you so much!”
Her winning entry was purchased at Drakes Murray Bridge, Shop 5, Murray Bridge Green Shopping Centre, 3-15 Swanport Road, Murray Bridge.
Drakes Murray Bridge store manager Randall Meyers said he and the team were thrilled to sell their first division one winning entry.

The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4655 on 28 February 2026 were 21, 13, 44, 31, 7 and 35, while the supplementary numbers were 30 and 34.
Across Australia, there were 11 division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4655 – four in Victoria, two each in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, and one in New South Wales.
