A Gawler nurse plans to keep caring for her community after a $1.2 million win in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw left her stunned.
The Adelaide resident held one of the five division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4645 drawn Saturday 24 January 2026. Each division one winning entry scored $1,286,587.92.
When an official from The Lott called the winning woman, she was still shaken up since checking her ticket on Sunday night.
“My hands are shaking,” she said.
“Thank you so much. Oh my god. I can call my kids now and tell them I wasn’t dreaming!
“I checked the ticket on Sunday night and I just went ‘Wait. What?’. I clicked on my ticket, and I thought ‘That can’t be right! I’m a nurse, this stuff doesn’t happen to me!’.
“I grabbed my son and made him read it, and he was just as confused as I was!
“My eyes were just not believing it. God, my heart is still thumping. I feel like I’m about to have heart failure.
“They’re just random numbers I plonk in there but funnily enough, there are a few family birthdays on the ticket!
“It’s just such a great feeling. I can help my children with their debts and look at a house for myself.
“It’ll also help with retirement. I’ll still work because I love my job!
“Thank you so much! You have no idea how much this will help.”
Her winning marked 36-game entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4645 on 24 January 2026 were 29, 24, 22, 33, 28 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 27 and 19.
Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4645 – two in New South Wales and one each in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
