A mystery Cairns player unwrapped more than chocolate eggs and hot cross buns over the Easter long weekend, pocketing a Set for Life division one win – but they may not know it yet.
The elusive Queenslander held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 3894 on Saturday 4 April 2026. They can look forward to $4.8 million paid in monthly instalments of $20,000 for the next 20 years.
It marks the fourth Set for Life division one win in Queensland during the past three weeks.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted the player to their newfound fortune.
Instead, officials are eagerly waiting for the mystery ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning entry was purchased at Raintrees Newsagency, Shop 24, Raintrees Shopping Centre, 1 Koch Street, Cairns.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he looked forward to uniting Queensland’s latest Set for Life division one winner with their windfall.
“Our mystery winner is likely oblivious to the fact that they became Set for Life on Saturday night and will receive $20,000 a month for the next 20 years. But first, they need to realise they’re the winner we’re looking for,” he said.
“We can’t wait to speak to this winner and confirm the exciting news. It’s the type of surprise that could make 2026 and the next few decades unforgettable.
“We’re urging anybody who purchased a Set for Life ticket from Raintrees Newsagency to check their tickets today because you could be the mystery winner we’re searching for.
“This is an important reminder for players to register their tickets to a player's card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if they do score division one, we can reach out with the exciting news.

The winning numbers in Set for Life draw 3894 on Saturday 4 April 2026 were 18, 25, 16, 21, 23, 30 and 7, while the supplementary numbers were 12 and 13.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Set for Life draw 3894 – the entry from Queensland.
This marks the 171th Set for Life division one winner nationally since the game began and the 13th Set for Life division one winner so far this financial year.
