The $4.8 million Set for Life win scored in Bargo last night is shrouded in mystery, with The Lott officials searching for who holds the winning ticket.

The elusive winner held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 2215, drawn Sunday 29 August 2021. They take home the division one prize of $4.8 million, paid in instalments of $20,000 a month for 20 years.

However, the winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news. Instead, they’re waiting for the ticketholder to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased at Bargo Newsagency, Shop 2-3, 66 Railside Avenue, Bargo.

Bargo Newsagency owner Encan Huang said he was eager to unite the winner with their Set for Life prize.

“This is the biggest win we’ve ever had and the first time we’ve sold a division one win. It’s a big moment for us,” he said.

“When I saw we had sold a division one prize, I couldn’t believe it! I had to check it so many times to be sure.

“Our shop is in a small regional town, so this win is great for our community. All of our customers have been so excited by this news and are hoping they’re next to become Set for Life.

“We are so happy for the winner, and to know they are going to be receiving their prize over the next 20 years is just amazing.

“Hopefully, the winner discovers they’ve scored division one soon! It would certainly be welcomed news for them.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was excited to see the Set for Life division one tally grow, and hoped the winner discovered the life-changing news soon.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Set for Life ticket from Bargo Newsagency to check their tickets as soon as possible,” she said.

“Imagine how incredible it would be to realise you’re now Set for Life! It would certainly give your week, year and life a boost!

“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox, because the winner could be you and you could be planning what to do with your prize too!

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

The winning numbers in Set for Life draw 2215 on Sunday 29 August 2021 were 8, 35, 5, 4, 13, 10 and 3, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 37.

Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Set for Life draw 2215 – the entry from New South Wales.

This marks the 82nd Set for Life division one winner nationally since the game began and the 12th Set for Life division one winner so far this calendar year.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 304 so far this calendar year, including 89 won by NSW Lotteries customers.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, there were 16 Set for Life division one winners across Australia who will receive $76.8 million during the next 20 years.

By the end of FY21, $53.8 million in monthly payments of $20,000 had been paid to the 79 Set for Life division one winners across Australia since 2015. More chances to win
