Having spent years dreaming of buying her own home, a Newcastle woman is ready to start house hunting after scoring division one in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The New South Wales player held one of the 10 division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 4213, drawn Saturday 4 December 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $587,281.03.
Confirming her exciting prize with an official from The Lott this morning, the woman explained she was still coming to terms with the news.
“Thank you,” she laughed.
“I checked the ticket online on Sunday morning.
“It was so exciting! I couldn’t believe it.
“I’ve been playing for years. I’m honestly in shock. I cannot believe this has happened to me.
“You hope and you dream for so long, and now I am one of the winners. It’s amazing!
“I’m going to buy a house. It will be incredible to be able to do that.”
Her winning marked 4-game entry was purchased at Beresfield Newsagency, 12 Lawson Avenue, Beresfield.
Beresfield Newsagency manager Anantha Indukuri said it was the first division one winning entry the oulet has sold.
“I was super excited when I heard the news,” she said.
“All our customers are so happy to hear we’ve sold a division one winning entry, and we are so thrilled our store has finally done it!
“We hope this brings plenty of excitement to the community.
“We wish our winner all the best and hope they really enjoy their prize!”
So far in 2021, there have been 17 division one wins in Hunter and Central Coast region worth more than $26.6 million.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4213 on 4 December 2021 were 44, 8, 31, 39, 45 and 24, while the supplementary numbers were 21 and 41.
Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4213 – four in Victoria, three in Western Australia, two in Queensland and one in New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 199 so far this financial year, including 68 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Saturday Lotto created 174 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning in Saturday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $435.21 million.
