A Gold Coast woman has declared she won’t be cooking dinner tonight and will instead enjoy a nice glass of wine and her favourite takeaway to celebrate winning $100,000.
The Queensland player scored the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10353, drawn Monday 24 February 2020.
As well as winning the 1st Prize, the woman also won a consolation prize of $1,000, boosting her total windfall to $101,000.
This afternoon an official from the Lott called the woman just after she had checked her online account and discovered her windfall.
“This is amazing! When I checked my online account I didn’t believe it,” she admitted.
“Even now it doesn’t feel real.
“You can’t begin to imagine how incredible this feels.
“It’s just wonderful.
“I called my hubby straight after I saw the win. He is struggling to believe it! He’s rapt though.
“Gosh I don’t know how I am going to go back to work and concentrate! My mind is all over the place.
“We will definitely need to celebrate tonight. I think I will have a glass of wine and order my favourite takeaway.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the winner said she’d be racing straight to the car yard.
“To be honest, most of this will go towards our savings,” she said.
“We definitely need a new car! We’ve been wanting to buy a new one for years.”
