A North Ryde office worker says he’s struggling to concentrate at work this morning, after discovering he won $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1221, drawn Tuesday 12 February 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the man revealed how he discovered his life-changing prize.
“I woke up this morning at around 4am and started reading the news then I checked my ticket on the website and it told me I’d won something, but the amount wasn’t specified,” he explained.
“Then I looked closely at the winning numbers and thought, ‘hey, that’s the first number on my ticket, I’ve won $200,000!’
“Then I thought I must be seeing things. This type of thing doesn’t happen to me.
“So I kept checking the numbers over and over. I just can’t believe it!
“This is life-changing!
“I’ve been working all morning and all I’ve done is send two emails.
“I can’t concentrate at all.”
The man revealed he’s been playing Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot consistently for months, dreaming of winning big.
“I’ve been playing, hoping to snag the ever growing Mega Jackpot prize,” he laughed.
“I’ve been dreaming that I’d win $200,000. But I never thought it would actually happen.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of three random numbers at Riverside News Plus More, Shop 3, The Village, 3 Julius Avenue, North Ryde.
Riverside News Plus More owner Hao Wu this was the first time their team had sold a 1st Prize winning entry since owning the store.
“We were so excited when we realised we’d sold winning entry!” he exclaimed.
“We’re so happy to now tell our customers that this is a winning store.
“We wish our winner all the best.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $42.04 million for draw 1222 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $3.36 million for draw 10272.
