Ten ecstatic employees from Northcote are grinning from ear to ear after their long-running private syndicate scored more than $838,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Melburnians held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4615, drawn Saturday 10 October 2025. They pocketed a total prize of $838,874.97.
When the newfound fortune was confirmed with the private syndicate leader this morning, the chirpy woman relayed how the winning discovery came about.
“I’m just chuffed! I can’t believe it!” she laughed.
“I’m still pinching myself. Is this a dream?
“I was at the local pub yesterday, singing and jamming away, and then noticed I had several missed calls and a voicemail from The Lott advising me to check my TattsLotto ticket.
“Immediately, I just said, ‘F*** off! No way!’.
“At first, I assumed it was a scam, and I thought to myself, ‘Jeez! These scammers are getting good!’, but after checking the ticket, I realised our syndicate had actually won division one!
“Ten of us have been playing together for 20 years and we all work together. I gave the rest of the members the best news today; I practically did your job! They’re all so stocked!
“A lot of us will be paying off our mortgages and some leftover bills.
“You’re my best friend now! Come join us for the celebrations!
“We’re going to go out for some celebratory drinks – very overdue!
“I’m a happy little vegemite!”
Their winning System 9 entry was purchased at Northcote South Post & Lucky Lotto, 107 High Street, Northcote South.
Northcote South Post & Lucky Lotto manager Praveen Pinnamaraju said he was so excited to have sold his first division one winning entry since taking over the business.
“We are over the moon! It’s such a wonderful feeling knowing someone from our community is now a division one winner! It’s moments like this that make our work so rewarding,” he said.
“We bought this shop just last year and we’ve already sold a division one winning entry! The previous owners hadn’t had a division one win in the past 10 years.
“Our customers will be absolutely delighted by the news! It’s such an exciting moment for the entire community, and it will definitely create a great atmosphere in the store.
“A huge congratulations! We’re absolutely thrilled for the private syndicate and wish all the members the very best.”
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4615 on 11 October 2025 were 43, 21, 37, 33, 32 and 9, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 30.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4615 – two each in Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
