It’s possible someone in New South Wales is going to sleep this evening completely unaware they won tonight’s entire $30 million Powerball jackpot and suddenly became Australia’s second-biggest lottery winner of 2023 to date.
The player held the only division one winning entry in tonight’s Powerball draw 1404, drawn Thursday 13 April 2023.
However, officials from The Lott do not have the complete contact details for the online player and have not been able to contact them to break the life-changing news.
In addition to the division one winning entry, there were a total of 1,111,891 prizes worth more than $20.33 million won in divisions two to nine in tonight’s draw. Among those winners were two division two winners who each took home a prize worth $281,829.15.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said someone’s life had just changed forever, but they might not yet have realised it.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1404 on Thursday 13 April 2023 were 27, 33, 19, 29, 5, 12 and 15. The all-important Powerball number was 4.
