An Oakdale woman has confessed she keeps re-checking her winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket, finding it hard to believe that it delivered her a hefty $150,000 top prize.

The Queenslanders winning $10 Jumbo Crosswords Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Murgon News & Gifts, 85 Lamb Street, Murgon.

The gleeful winner shared she regularly treats herself to an Instant Scratch-Its and always hoped for a win just like this one.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes,” she laughed.

“I still can’t. I keep re-checking my ticket over and over again in disbelief.

“You always hope for a winning ticket and then when you finally get one. It’s just magical!

“It's so exciting.

“I honestly haven’t given much thought to what I’ll do with the prize.

“An escape to somewhere warmer doesn’t sound so bad right about now.”

Murgon News & Gifts owner John Robinson shared this was one of the most exciting moments he’d experienced since opening the doors to the community over 50 years ago.

“It’s incredible to hear that a local customer has won a big prize,” he said.

“I’ve owned this outlet for 50 years and I’ve sold many major prizes but that doesn’t make this win any less special.

“It’s a wonderful experience; to know the enormous impact that a win like this has on a person’s life is truly amazing.

“Congratulations to our winner, we hope it makes a wonderful difference in your life and above all else, enjoy!”
