Oz Lotto has jackpotted to an eye-watering $80 million for next Tuesday’s draw – the highest jackpot level the game has reached in seven years.

The exciting jackpot comes after no players held a division one winning entry in tonight’s Oz Lotto draw, prompting the game to jackpot for the eighth consecutive week.

While no entries scored the division one prize in tonight’s Oz Lotto draw, a total of 1,086,052 winners won more than $24.93 million were won in division two to seven.

Among these winners, there were 19 players who scored a division two prize after being one number short of scoring the jackpot. They each take home a prize of $37,162.

The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said with $80 million on offer next week, Australians could experience a flashback to 2012.

“The last time Oz Lotto sky-rocketed this high Australians were dancing to Psy’s  ‘Gangnam style’ and listening to Carly Rae Jespen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’,” she said.

“It was a big year for sport after Team Australia earned 35 medals at the London Olympics, Sydney Swans were crowned the champions in the AFL grand final and the Melbourne Storm took home the title in the NRL grand final.

“Kim Kardashian and Kanye West started dating as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes called it quits and Prince William and Kate Middleton announced they were expecting their first child.

“Back on home soil, 2012 saw Oz Lotto climb to a record-breaking $100 million – the last time the game offered a jackpot above $70 million.

“With up to one-in-four Australian adults expected to have an entry into the $80 million Oz Lotto draw next Tuesday, it is expected to be busy in outlets and online.

“With so many people getting their hands on an entry, we could be calling you maybe?”

In 2018, there were 20 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $253.7 million.

The numbers drawn tonight in Oz Lotto draw 1322 on Tuesday 18 June 2019 were 2, 30, 6, 16, 43, 35 and 3. The supplementary numbers were 28 and 41.

The $80 million Oz Lotto draw 1323 will take place on Tuesday 25 June 2019.

Tickets can be purchased at any licensed lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via the Lott mobile app.

The Lott’s division one winning tally across all Australian lottery games has now reached 161 so far this calendar year.
