Australians are imagining what 2024 and beyond could hold with a $90 million Oz Lotto prize securely deposited in their bank accounts.
Oz Lotto has soared to an outstanding $90 million for next Tuesday night’s draw, draw 1558 on Tuesday 26 December 2023 – the last Oz Lotto draw of the year.
The $90 million prize is the second-biggest jackpot offered by Oz Lotto in the game’s 30-year history and is the biggest prize offered by any Australian lottery game in over three months.
The Oz Lotto jackpot has reached this level after no player held all seven winning numbers needed to win division one in the past nine draws.
While no one won division one, there were 1,282,074 wins in divisions two to seven that collected more than $29.6 million. This includes 12 division two winners who each scored $90,505.40.
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said up to one-in-three Australian adults were expected to have an entry into next Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw in the hope they could enter the new year as a newly minted multi-millionaire.
“As this is the second-biggest jackpot offered by Oz Lotto in three decades, we’re expecting it to be busy in-store and online in the lead-up to next Tuesday’s draw,” she said.
“This week’s Oz Lotto draw saw the peak of sales at 6.35pm on the day of the draw when more than 4,113 tickets were sold in a minute.
“The idea of unboxing this life-changing jackpot on Boxing Day just days before 2024 arrives is sure to get Aussies dreaming big this week.”
Ms Hobdell said players should register their entries to a player card or online account so they can be immediately contacted should they win big in next Tuesday’s $90 million Oz Lotto draw.
“We’ll be on the edge of our seats eagerly awaiting the results of the Oz Lotto draw and will be ready to reach out to any registered division one winners as soon as announced,” she said.
