A $1.2 million TattsLotto prize has paved the way for a Pakenham couple to purchase their dream home on the Peninsula, though they’re still coming to grips with the magnitude of their win.
The Melburnians held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4661, drawn Saturday 21 March 2026. They can look forward to a total prize of $1,260,098.55.
The winning entry was not registered to The Lott Members Club meaning officials from The Lott had no way of contacting the ticketholders and had to wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.
“We’re absolutely dumbfounded,” the winning husband revealed.
“I don’t normally purchase lottery tickets unless the prize on offer is $30 million or above but I thought why not! I’m so glad I ended up purchasing a ticket into the draw.
“I just woke up on Sunday morning and decided to check the ticket. My wife wasn’t home, so I had to give her a call and tell her the good news.
“She was actually hopping on a plane, and I had to get her right before she was boarding!
“We celebrated when she arrived home.
“We’re looking at buying a house on the Peninsula. This has come at the most perfect time.
“Thank you very much!”
Their winning entry was purchased at Advantage Pharmacy Pakenham, Shop 9, Village Lakeside East Shopping Centre, 19-27 Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham.
Advantage Pharmacy Pakenham owner Jason Lam said he was so pleased to hear his outlet had sold a division one winning entry.
“We’re so happy to hear our division one winner has checked their ticket and now come forward,” he shared.
“We’ve put morning tea on for the staff to celebrate this winning moment! We haven’t sold a division one winning entry for a while, so it’s truly a momentous occasion for the team.
“This win will certainly change the winner’s life. Congratulations again and we wish you all the best.”
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4661 on 21 March 2026 were 27, 20, 11, 16, 45, 43, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 22.
Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4661 – three in Victoria, and one each in Tasmania and Western Australia.
