A Paralowie woman admittedly can’t wait for her best friend to return from holiday so they can crank up the tunes, dance around the lounge room, and celebrate her $50,000 Keno win in style.
The Northern Adelaide resident scored the Keno Spot 8 prize of $50,000 in draw 241118 795, drawn Monday 18 November 2024.
The thrilled winner shared her body instantly went ‘numb’ the moment she checked her Keno ticket and discovered she’d won $50,000.
“I think I checked the ticket around 17 times, and I went numb,” she laughed.
“My best friend is in the middle of the ocean, and I can’t tell her the news! She comes home soon, so I’ll be able to tell her the good news and we’ll probably dance around the lounge room.
“I had a little dance myself, but it was a bit funny doing it by myself.
“I can’t believe it! I’m absolutely over the moon!”
With a $50,000 win about to boost her bank account before the festive season, the South Australian shared she couldn’t wait to surprise one of her friends with new aircon.
“A dear friend of mine needs aircon, it’s just too hot in her place. I’ll treat her to one and it will make me happy knowing she’s happy,” she shared.
“Apart from that, I’m not too sure! I’ll have to have a chat to my friend when she returns.
“Thank you so much for the lovely phone call.”
Her winning Keno Spot 8 entry was purchased at PSM Espresso, Shop 51a, Parabanks Shopping Centre, 68-84 John St, Salisbury.
