Seven Kingswood Park workmates admit they might be distracted at work today after this morning discovering their long-running syndicate scored division one in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The Sydney workers held one of the six division one wins nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3914, on Monday 21 October 2019. The division one prize was $666,666.67.

In addition to winning a division one prize, the syndicate’s marked System 7 entry also scored division three 6 times, bolstering the total prize to $668,562.67.

Members of the workplace syndicate were oblivious to their win until a NSW Lotteries official made contact with them this morning.

“Wow!” the syndicate leader exclaimed.

“That’s fantastic! Oh mate, that’s fantastic. Unbelievable!

“It’s a syndicate. Everyone will be so, so happy mate.

“We’ve been playing this syndicate for a couple of years now. Actually, we just invited two people in a few weeks ago so they’ll be over the moon.

“I don’t know what to say. It’s just unbelievable! I’ll have to go have an early beer!”

The happy man predicted he would enjoy breaking the winning news to all the syndicate members.

“I can’t wait to tell them!” he said.

“I’m sure many will use it to pay off the mortgage or go on a holiday.

“Everyone will be just rapt! They’ll get a lot of enjoyment out of that I can tell you!”

The syndicate leader, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased the winning marked System 7 entry at Marketland Newsagency, Shop 1, 7 Caloola Avenue, Kingswood.

Marketland Newsagency owner Yan Ling said she was thrilled to discover the news of her winning outlet early this morning.

“I was so excited when I opened up this morning and found out we had sold a division one winning entry!” she exclaimed.

“It’s always exciting to know your customers are winners!

“We’ve been telling all of our customers we’ve sold a division one winning entry and they’ve told us they hope they are next.

“We’ve sold a few division one winning entries and major prizes in the past but this is the first one since 2015!

“Congratulations to our winners! We wish them all the best with their prize!”
