A generous Point Cook man plans to share most of his $100,000 win in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw with his nearest and dearest.
The Melburnian won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10742, drawn Tuesday 3 January 2023.
Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the family man confessed he was stunned by the revelation.
“It’s unreal!” he laughed.
“Someone called me from The Lott a couple of days ago, but I thought it was a scam - hence the delayed discovery!
“I was completely over the moon when I first discovered the win.
“I told my parents and my sister straight away. They thought it was a scam too. It’s the first thing that comes to mind because most people aren’t used to winning!
“I plan to give at least 80% of the prize to my parents and my sister.
“Then, I’ll think about what I’ll do with the rest of the prize.
“It’s a great way to start the new year!”
His winning two random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
