A Pullenvale man has pulled into his child’s daycare carpark feeling overwhelmed with emotions after receiving a life-enhancing phone call about his million-dollar Weekday Windfall win.
The Brisbanite held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4419, drawn Monday 22 July 2024 and looks forward to $1 million.
The cheerful dad was completely oblivious to his newly-minted millionaire status until an official from The Lott surprised and delighted him earlier this morning.
“Oh my god! Oh my god!” he joyfully cried.
“I’m in shock. That’s unbelievable.
“Are you for real? You have no idea how much this means to me.
“We’ve just found ourselves in a tough situation and this will help us so much.
“We’ve been hit with some bills, and we’ll be able to pay them all off.
“I’m literally sitting in the daycare car park right now and I’m trying to compose myself before I do the drop off.
“I’ll have to ring my wife and tell her the good news!
“Thank you so much.”
His winning 15-game QuickPick was purchased on The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4419 on Monday 22 July 2024 were 35, 10, 37, 28, 16 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 22 and 44.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Weekday Windfall draw 4419 – one each in Queensland and New South Wales.
