A Redbank Plains man has added renovations to the roster after lottery officials revealed he scored $100,000 in the recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Queenslander won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10598, drawn on Friday 24 June 2022.
Following the draw, an official from The Lott contacted the winning man to reveal the incredible news.
“Wow, this is my first major lottery prize!” he exclaimed.
“I had no idea that I’d won 1st Prize.
“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot for a little while now.
“I did have a good win about five or six years ago on Oz Lotto, but nothing like this!
“I’m not a big celebrater but my wife and I are elated to be able to complete some much-needed renovations on our home.
“I’ll be keeping my win pretty quiet and only share the winning news with my wife and my son.
“Thank you so much for making this possible.”
The winning entry of 10 random numbers was purchased at Goodna Newsagency, 19b 2 Smiths Road, Goodna.
Goodna Newsagency owner Cheryl Barker said she was relishing knowing she’d sold a 1st Prize winning entry to one of her customers.
“It’s so fantastic that we sold a 1st Prize winning ticket. It’s beautiful that we can do that for our customers," she said.
“We only took over the outlet in January. It has been wonderful to serve our locals. Our customers are very loyal, so that’s why we plan to celebrate with our customers.
“Ever since we received the news, we’ve been on cloud nine. We hung up all our signs and we’re planning on getting hats and balloons.
“This area has been through a lot since the floods, with some houses being wiped out. We hope the prize can help someone in need
