A Wollongong man had to pick his wife up from the floor after they checked their Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket and discovered they’d won $200,000.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1336, drawn Monday 3 June 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the man revealed he was in shock when he initially realised his good fortune.
“Beautiful! That’s fantastic!” he laughed.
“Thank you so much! This is very cool!
“Last night I went home after work and my wife and I decided to scan the ticket on the app.
“We couldn’t believe it when we saw we’d won $201,000! I had to pick my wife up from the floor!”
The man revealed he’d been playing Lucky Lotteries regularly, watching the jackpot prize soar.
“I’m still working so this prize will certainly bring forward retirement by a few years, so it’s great,” he said.
“I can’t wait to enjoy it!”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Nextra Figtree Newsagency, Shop 29, Westfield Shoppingtown, Cnr Princes Highway & The Avenue, Figtree.
Nextra Figtree Newsagency owner Grace Tong said she was thrilled for the winner.
“We are so excited for our winner,” she exclaimed.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $69.64 million for draw 1337 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.41 for draw 10292.
