A Hobart resident is flying through the week $1.6 million richer after winning division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw – they just might not know it yet.

The elusive winner held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4523, drawn Saturday 23 November 2024. Each entry scored $1,642,087.17.

Although the division one winning entry is registered, officials from The Lott were unable to make contact with the winner on the details provided to deliver the life-changing news.

The winning entry was purchased at Cat & Fiddle Lotto, Shop 47 Cat & Fiddle Arcade, 51 Murray Street, Hobart.

Cat & Fiddle Lotto manager Gemma Wilkinson and sales assistant Jonathon Moore said the entire team were so excited for the winner and hoped they checked their ticket soon.

“Wow! How fantastic! We’re so happy for our division one winner, and it’s so great to have sold a division one winning entry before Christmas,” Gemma said.

“We’re started to decorate the shop and we’ve been informing all of our customers about the million-dollar win.

“The owners, Sally Woolley and Phil Marsh have owned the store since 2011, and I have worked with them since 2011. We all work super hard in hopes of selling a division one winning entry, and we’re so happy to have done it!

Congratulations to the division one winner and all the best for the future. We’re hoping it will be one of our loyal regulars.”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eagerly waiting to speak with the region’s newest multi-millionaire despite repeated attempts to phone the winner going unanswered.

“I was ready to reveal the life-enhancing news to Hobart’s newest division one winner earlier this week, but sadly whenever I called the number provided, it just rang out and went straight to message bank,” she said.

“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you could be the mystery millionaire we’re trying to contact.

“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an entry into the recent TattsLotto draw from Cat & Fiddle Lotto that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“We’re urging all TattsLotto players to check their entries as soon as possible. If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact the Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4523 on 23 November 2024 were 3, 40, 25, 17, 42 and 6, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 28.

Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4523 – one each in Tasmania, Victoria and Queensland.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 400 so far in 2024, including 147 won by Tatts customers.

In FY24, Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) created 98 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 108 division one winning Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) entries across Australia, which collectively won $107 million.
