A Darwin resident or visitor has started their week as a newly made millionaire after scoring division one in the recent Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw – they just might not know it yet.
The elusive Northern Territory player held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4306, drawn Monday 24 July 2023 and took home $1 million.
Although the entry was registered to a Tatts player card, officials from The Lott have been unable to make contact with the winner during the past two days to deliver the life-changing news.
The winning entry was purchased at Coolalinga Newsagency, Shop 3, Coolalinga Shopping Centre, Coolalinga.
Coolalinga Newsagency owner Jason Barling said the division one winning entry was fantastic news for the Northern Territory region.
“Wow! We can’t believe we’ve sold a division one winning entry and it's fantastic to see another millionaire in the Northern Territory,” he said.
“We have done some decorating and will enjoy sharing the winning news and excitement with our customers this week.
“We’ve sold seven division one winning entries in the last 17 years, and we can imagine this will be the start of a winning streak for us.
“We hope our elusive winner makes the most of their division one windfall and that they can enjoy this life-changing moment for many years to come – may all of your dreams come true!”
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said repeated attempts to contact the new millionaire on the details provided had failed.
“I was ready to confirm the Northern Territory’s newest division one winner straight after the draw results were known, but sadly the phone number provided doesn’t seem to be up to date,” she said.
“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you have an entry from Coolalinga Newsagency that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!
“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket in Monday & Wednesday Lotto then we urge you to contact the Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4306 on Monday 24 July 2023 were 39, 6, 22, 21, 24 and 42, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 38.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4306 – two in Victoria and one each in The Northern Territory and Western Australia.
