A Rowville woman is looking forward to escaping the Melbourne winter after winning division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The thrilled woman was one of nine division one winners nationally in TattsLotto draw 3865 drawn Saturday 4 August 2018. Each takes home a division one prize of $444,985.88.
When speaking with a Tatts official this morning to claim her prize the woman revealed that her beloved family was at the top of her Lotto List.
“Thank you so much! I checked my tickets online and I saw that I had won!” she exclaimed.
“I called my son to tell him that I had won and he was so excited for me.
“He has been thinking about buying a new house and I said to him ‘You can start looking for a house now’ as I will be able to help him out.
“He said to me ‘No Mum, that money is all for you to spend and enjoy!’.”
When asked how the she planned to spend her TattsLotto windfall the happy winner shared a holiday to warmer weather was on the horizon.
“I’ll pay off the mortgage on the house. It will come in very handy,” she said.
“I think we’ll take a small holiday. I’ll take the whole family up to Queensland for a short holiday to get away from this cold weather.
“We’ve been wanting to do this for a while and now we can – thank you so much!”
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 50-game QuickPick entry from Woolworths Petrol Rowville, 1180 Stud Road, Rowville.
So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto have created 113 millionaires across Australia.
The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3865 on Saturday 4 August 2018 were 25, 38, 24, 35, 12 and 14. The supplementary numbers were 36 and 39.
Across Australia there were nine division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3865 – five from Victoria, two from Queensland, and one each from New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 240 so far this calendar year, including 101 won by Tatts customers.
Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $341.27 million.
