Salisbury woman stuns bus commuters with screams of joy after $1 million Weekday Windfall win

A Salisbury woman couldn’t contain her excitement this morning, letting out an elated scream on the bus after discovering her life had changed following a $1 million win in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw.

The Adelaide resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4500, drawn Monday 27 January 2025. She can look forward to a cool $1 million.

The merry mother was left shaking like a leaf when an official from The Lott surprised her with the thrilling news.

“Oh my god!” she screamed.

“I’ve won a million dollars! Thank you so much.

“I can’t believe it. I’m a millionaire. I’m going to cry.

“I’m so happy. I’m shaking. I’m on the bus right now and I can’t help but scream to everyone that I’ve won.

“Gosh. I’m so overwhelmed. I can’t wait to call Mum and Dad.

“It sounds crazy, but I’ve been watching some horoscope things on YouTube, and they’ve been saying I will be rich and lucky around now.

“I can buy a house! I’ve got my daughter here and we’re so happy. This is everything to us.

“Thank you so much! I’m rich!”

Her winning 14-game QuickPick entry was purchased The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4500 on Monday 27 January 2025 were 36, 10, 9, 37, 14 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 29 and 11.

Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Weekday Windfall draw 4500 – one in South Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 279 so far in FY25, including 29 won by SA Lotteries customers.

In FY24, Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) created 99 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 109 division one winning Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) entries across Australia, which collectively won $108 million.

Ring, ring, ring! $2.4 million phone call goes unanswered in West Lakes!

A West Lakes player is flying through the week $2.4 million richer after winning division one in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw – they just might not know it yet.

The elusive winner held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4541, drawn Saturday 25 January 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $2,473,272.71.

Although the division one winning entry is registered with The Lott Members Club, officials from The Lott were unable to make contact with the winner on the details provided to deliver the life-changing news.

The winning entry was purchased at West Lakes Lotteries Kiosk, K11, West Lakes Shopping Centre, Brebner Drive, West Lakes.

West Lakes Lotteries Kiosk owner Pat Sepe said it always gives him great pleasure seeing one of his customers score a division one prize.

“We were so excited! It always gives me great pleasure to see one of my customers strike it big and have their lives transformed!” he shared.

“I’ve already let the entire team know about the winning news, and we’ve been sharing the excitement with all of our customers. Our store is decorated with balloons and posters!

“Our customers will be very excited and eager to purchase tickets from us knowing that we’ve had another division one winner.

“We’ve had 24 major lottery wins since opening our doors to the community, and our customers always tell us that they think we’re a lucky store.

“Congratulations to the winner! We have so many loyal customers that continue to support our business and it’s the greatest feeling to give back to them. We hope our winner finds out soon.”

The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said she was eagerly waiting to speak with the region’s newest multi-millionaire despite repeated attempts to phone the winner going unanswered.

“I was ready to reveal the sensational news to Adelaide’s recent division one winner earlier this week, but sadly whenever I called the number provided, it just rang out and went straight to message bank,” she said.

“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you could be the mystery millionaire we’re trying to contact.

“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an entry into the recent Saturday X Lotto ticket from West Lakes Lotteries Kiosk that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“We’re urging all X Lotto players to check their entries as soon as possible. If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact the Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
