Four months after the draw, officials from The Lott are still searching for Anna Bay’s mystery winner who scored $100,000 in a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The elusive Anna Bay player won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10467, drawn Monday 7 June 2021.

The ticket is unregistered, so officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased at Anna Bay Newsagency & Post Office, Shop 7, 118 Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay.

Anna Bay Newsagency & Post Office owner Stephen Tulip said the windfall had been the talk of the town for the past four months.

“We’ve had a multitude of customers come in to check their tickets to see if they’re the mystery winner, especially for the first three weeks after the draw,” he exclaimed.

“I can only imagine the win would be a perfect way to end the year. It would be lovely to discover before Christmas. It’s been such a challenging year for everyone.

“Our trading hours are 7am until 5pm from Monday to Friday, and 7am to 12pm on the weekend. We encourage anyone holding a Lucky Lotteries ticket to come in and check their tickets!”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was looking forward to uniting the Hunter Region’s mystery winner with their life-enhancing prize.

“If our mystery winner checks their Lucky Lotteries ticket and claims their prize, $100,000 will be heading straight into their bank account,” she shared.

“Make sure you check your wallet, shopping bags, fridge door and glovebox. Previous winners have found valuable tickets in all sorts of strange places!

“If you discover you’re holding the winning entry, please call us on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.

“You can check your ticket on The Lott website, via The Lott app and at your local retail outlet.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $4.60 million for draw 1550, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $3.88 million for draw 10501.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, 136 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $46.09 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who scored a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May 2021.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Australians took home more than 123.7 million prizes worth more than $3.62 billion from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Lotto, Monday & Wednesday Lotto, Powerball, Oz Lotto, Set for Life, Lucky Lotteries, Keno, Super 66, Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.

Last financial year, Australia’s official lotteries contributed more than $1.5 billion via state lottery taxes and donations to help community initiatives, such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education.
