When a Shepparton dad discovered his $1.5 million TattsLotto windfall on the weekend, his reaction was so dramatic his wife initially thought he’d been “shot”.
The northern Victorian held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4619, drawn Saturday 25 October 2025. He looks forward to a total prize of $1,556,751.24.
The winning man relayed how the multi-million-dollar discovery came about when an official from The Lott confirmed his win this morning.
“Thank you very much!” he exclaimed.
“I’m sure everyone tells you, but it’s quite amazing!
“My wife is cheering in the background as we speak. The win also feels so real now that you’ve called to confirm the news!
“It was late Saturday night, and we had all finished watching a movie together when I decided to grab the iPad and check my ticket before bed.
“I had two tickets in the draw – the first one had won $100 and then I saw the win on this ticket. I couldn’t believe it. I thought to myself, ‘What’s going on here?!’.
“I walked out of the bedroom to my wife, and she thought I’d been shot or something!
“I had to check ticket on every electronic in the house to make sure it wasn’t glitching.”
When asked how the newly-minted millionaire would enjoy his prize, the gleeful man cheerfully painted a picture of his upcoming dreams for the future.
“I can do a few things – help out our three children – and finally retire!” he shared.
“We will definitely spread the love!”
His winning System 8 entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4619 on 25 October 2025 were 14, 13, 41, 29, 23 and 40, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 1.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4619 – one each in Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 354 so far in 2025, including 139 won by Tatts customers.
In FY25, TattsLotto created 165 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $420 million.
