There are 10 TattsLotto players around Victoria who are starting their working week on a high after the ‘Saturday night number two’ syndicate won a division one prize in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

In addition to winning the division one prize of $439,800.84, the syndicate entry also won division two six times, division three 18 times, division four 90 times and division five 60 times, bolstering their total prize to $513,269.04. Each syndicate member takes home a $51,326.90 share.

The store syndicate’s winning marked entry was one of the nine division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3901, drawn Saturday 8 December 2018.

The 10-member syndicate, consisting of a System 10, System 9 and seven System 7 entries was created by Shepparton Plaza Lotto, Shop 1, 310 High Street Shepparton.

Shepparton Plaza Lotto owners Catherine and Brian Connor said they were thrilled to have sold a division one winning syndicate entry.

“It is just fabulous isn’t it?” Catherine said happily.

“And what a great time of year to win, with Christmas and New Year coming up!

“It is a weekly syndicate and some of our customers having been buying shares into the syndicate for years.

“One of our customers has been playing this syndicate for at least 10 years. Probably since the syndicate was initially set up, which was over 11 years ago.

“The players are all local too. We have been able to speak to two this morning and they were both so excited.”

While winning division one is a first for this particular syndicate, Shepparton Plaza Lotto is no stranger to selling division one winning entries.

“We have sold six division one winning entries in 10 years,” Brian added.

“But this is a first for this syndicate. We will definitely be encouraging more customers to buy syndicate entries in store.

“We hope more of the syndicate players come in this week so we can congratulate them in person. We are so happy for them!”

Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said some members of the winning syndicate held unregistered entries and may have yet to discover their winning news.

“What a great way to start your working week, especially with Christmas just around the corner – discovering you’ve pocketed more than $50,000!” she said.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entry to their Tatts Cards, there are several syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it!  If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call Tatts on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
