The excitement of discovering a $200,000  Lucky Lotteries win  has left a Campbeltown grandmother tossing and turning for the past few nights.

The western Sydney woman won the 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1542, drawn Thursday 26 August 2021.

Although the winning entry was registered, officials from The Lott were unable to reach the winner and had to wait for them to come forward and claim their prize.

“I can’t believe it! I’ve never won anything in my life,” the merry woman laughed.

“When I received an email to notify me that I’d won a major lottery prize, I showed my sons straight away. Most of them said, ‘mum, that’s a scam’.

“However, my eldest son thought the opposite. He searched the phone number of The Lott and said to me, ‘mum, I think this is real!’

“I’ve been having such horrible sleeps the past few days. All I can think about is the win! You actually woke us up, I don’t usually sleep this late.

“This is a lovely prize. Thank you so much.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the cheerful winner said she was too lost for words to make any concrete plans.

“I’m in too much shock! I’m not too sure how I will spend my prize money,” she exclaimed.

“I think we will celebrate with a dinner, as we’re in lockdown at the moment and can only have one visitor.

“How fantastic!”

Her winning entry of two random numbers was purchased at Bradbury Newsagency & Post Office, Shop 10A Bradbury Shopping Centre, 100 The Parkway, Bradbury.

Bradbury Newsagency & Post Office owner Nagalaskhmi Ramisetty said she was thrilled the winner had discovered their windfall.

“This is the first major lottery prize we’ve sold since owning the store,” she shared.

“Our customers have told us they feel lucky purchasing a lottery ticket from us, knowing we’ve sold a major lottery prize recently.

“It’s even better knowing the ticket was sold to a regular customer. We love seeing them come through.

“We wish the winner all the best and congratulate them on their exciting prize!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.92 million for draw 1543, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $2.06 million for draw 10487.
