A Gold Coast woman has confessed she barely slept a wink last night and is struggling to concentrate at work today after discovering she became a millionaire last night.
The Queensland player held one of the three division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4062, drawn Monday 22 March 2021. Each division one entry won $1 million.
When an official from The Lott contacted the winner this morning, she burst into laughter upon having the exciting news confirmed.
“I am feeling good!” she laughed.
“I found out very late last night. I was completely gobsmacked!
“I always hoped for a division one win, but I never actually thought it would happen.
“It’s crazy!
“I barely slept a wink last night. I couldn’t believe it, so I kept checking my account to make sure it was real.
“I’m at work right now, but I honestly don’t know how I will concentrate.
“My mind is going crazy!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her million-dollar win, the elated woman admitted she was struggling to comprehend she was now a millionaire.
“I will probably buy a house, I think,” she explained.
“I would like to go on a holiday too and I am sure I will do something to spoil myself.
“It’s so hard to imagine what I will do with $1 million. I just never thought it would happen.”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her marked System 7 entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
